Alchemy is unlocked initially, and allows users to create items to benefit certain aspects of their game/stats.
The player will 'purify' some mysterious water, and then use that water to create items using other materials on a per item basis.
Alchemy can be located in the main tab 'CRAFT' then under the Alchemy 'tickbox'.
How do I use Alchemy? [ ]
By default, players will have only the 1st tier open - '1 ml'. The tiers are listed via the tabs across the top of the Alchemy screen.
The 'charge bar' players see is automatic, and each time it fills the player will gain one full vial (later called cups, bottles, barrels etc). To start the player can only fill one vial at a time, which is indicated to the right of the charge bar (by default showing 0/1 or 1/1 when full). The charge bar will oly fill up on the tier you currently have selected, by default, without the required Epic Shop purchase
The player can then use that vial to make one of the items in the squares below (such as Monster Energy). Each item made will use the full vial, putting you back at 0/1, where the charge bar starts again and refills a vial.
When a player is at full 'storage' in the tier - so 1/1 for example - no more vials will fill. But the '+' icon will now light up, indicating it can be pressed. This will increase that tiers storage max (pressing + when at 1/1 will put the player at 0/2, pressing + at 2/2 will put player at 0/3 etc).
When the player expands the storage of a tier from 9/9 (putting them at 0/10) the next tier will open, along with its new items.
This will reset on rebirth
How do I get more 'Purify Mysterious Water' speed? [ ]
There are various ways within the game, including upgrades from Prestige Points, Slime Bank and Dark Rituals, but the primary method will be crafting and using the item called 'Monster Energy'. Each one of these you make and use will increase your purifying speed by a certain amount for that rebirth.
What about AP and item unlocks? [ ]
AP (Alchemy Points) are earned for every item you USE . The amount of AP will depend on the item, and the quality - this will be labelled on the item tooltip. Especially high qualities of 95 or greater, give more AP.
You can spend AP on perm stat bonuses (near the bottom of the alchemy screen, above inventory) but this gives a very low return for cost currently and is not recommended other than very early game, and even then not much. (v1.0.6.2)
You can also use AP to unlock new items in tiers, which is the primary function. Most items will need unlocking, using the AP listed when you hover over the ?? icon. The cost for unlock are listed in the table below.
IMPORTANT NOTE: Each item only needs unlocking once, as it is technically the same item even if it appears in different tiers. So for example, Capsule of Strength will only ever need unlocking once, in whatever tier you choose (usually it will be the earliest tier, but not always) The cost to unlock does not change, regardless of what tier you choose to unlock from.
Purchases and Upgrades [ ]
EPIC SHOP
Multi-Purify Mysterious Water - 2500 EC - Allow the 'charge'/'fill' bar to charge up across all unlocked tiers at once, regardless on which tier you have currently selected.
Auto Expansion of Alchemy - 6500 EC - Will automatically expand each tiers 'storage', effectively removing the need for the player to hit the '+' icon each time. Will only ever increase to your manually reached maximum (you reach tier 1m L 5/5 it will turn itself off after reaching that point, and player needs to resume manually thereafter)
SLIME BANK
Purification Master - Will increase base purify water speed by xx% each time max storage is expanded, in the same tier (5/5 -> 0/6 etc) or when a new tier is unlocked (10 mL -> 100 mL etc).
PRESTIGE POINTS
Alchemy - Straight increase in % to purify water speed
SPIRIT ESSENCE
Alchemy Point - Allows you to keep x% of your total earned AP during the previous reincarnation. Caps out at 100%.
Alkahest'ish - Adds 0.25mL *lvl to your base/starting Purify speed. Caps out at 50mL p/s (lvl 200)

10L monster energy is the most efficient way to convert fluid to water/second
Before unlocking 10L, use the hihghest you've unlocked, other than 1L, which is less efficient than 100mL.
(*Assuming all quality got equal chance in their tiers, and ignoring time to purify water, button clicking and time wasted due to water hitting cap.)
