What is Slime Bank?[]

The slime bank is a feature that opens up a new variety of upgrades and bonuses to the player, using it's own unique resources 'Slime Coins' and 'Reputation' .

It opens up after player has completed area 2-4


Slime Coins (SC)

Slime coins are earned automatically, by converting any gold earned after your gold cap at a set rate (default 1: 500). This means if you have a gold cap at 20,000 and are currently at 20,000/20,000, you will earn 1 SC for every 500 gold you earn after that.

This rate can be increased through various upgrades, and is referred to as 'SC Efficiency'.

The slime bank has it's own SC Cap, which prevents any more slime coins being earned if reached. This cap can be increased by various means.

Slime Coins can be converted back to gold, as long as you are not at your gold cap at the rate displayed in the main window (default 0.1 SC per gold), although this has limited use outside of specific needs (for capturing monsters mainly)


Reputation (rep)

Reputation is more static, and symbolizes is the banks 'opinion' of you. Most purchases of slime bank upgrades will provide you with reputation, whilst the most powerful ones will take reputation away.

Certain upgrades will not appear until you have met a reputation 'threshold'. Viewable by hovering on the 'medallion' icon to the right of the rep number. These are listed in the table below.

Note that the purchases that require reputation actually lower your rep by that much, meaning you will need to buy upgrades that gives rep to build it back up. Any purchased upgrades are kept, even if going below the required threshold again.

*1 - Example: You have interest rate of 1%. You currently hold 10000 Slime Coins, so you will be granted 100 SC (10000/0.01). After a while, coupled with Bank Cap, this becomes the best way to gather SC, outstripping gold conversion outside of very specific setups.

Sincere Business - Increases amount of rep earned by all +rep upgrades by 20% per lvl, capping at +1000% rep earned

Slime King Bargain- Lowers cost of all slime bank upgrades by 0.25% per lvl, capping at 50% reduction
